Blind Mind Radio with Ted Mc 15 Mar
2010
First in a multi-part series on all things audio. In this episode, we cover MP3 splitting and merging. It's all about getting the source material file sizes and number of files to how you want them. We use an example of a 750mb audiobook that starts out in 3 250mb files, and convert it to 60 smaller, more manageable files using an application called Absolute MP3 Splitter. Other subjects to be covered in future episodes will include audio ripping, file format converting, audiobooks optimized for S60 smartphones using Nokia Audiobooks, MP3 to Daisy authoring, and text document to MP3 audio conversion.
