Fresh S60 download! A free download for S60 5th edition handsets provides useful icons labeled for Talks 5.x owners.
Submitted by user Pete from the UK, and done on an N97, the icons should work for any 5th edition device running Talks 5.x that uses an English dictionary.
These were inadvertantly left out of the Talks 5.0 release, and will no doubt be included in the first bugfix release following the newly released and long anticipated 5.0 supporting touch screen phones.
The included icons provide additional functionality out of the box once installed. Most give text labels to softkeys 3, 4, and 5 for in-built system apps such as Radio, Music Player, and Video & TV, as well as "unread mail" text labels for the Nokia Mail client, and support in the WLAN wizard for being able to have signal strength of a network spoken when browsing the list of available networks, before actually selecting one. Definitely handy to have. But again, please note, the next minor update from Nuance will undoubtedly contain these, so this is just a short-term use package to help your phone be more usable in the meantime.

To install:
1. Using your PC, download the below file.
2. Use Winzip or WinRAR to unzip the archive to a temporary directory on your computer.
3. Using Ovi Suite or bluetooth, copy the files to the device and place in the /others/talks folder on the drive where Talks is installed (usually c: drive).
4. To complete the change, reboot the device.
